The Scent of Sedona

So, I am driving along in my car, and all of a sudden, this smell hits me.

And it’s the scent of Sedona.

The scent of Sedona.

Oh, how refreshing. Oh, it smells so good.

It comforted me. It held me. It gave me a warm hug. It told me just to take my next breath.

And it reminded me that positivity and love and light and joy and pain and shit and grit—all of it—is what makes the human experience the most beautiful one that we will have.

I am so blessed that I got to experience all these beautiful souls who are here on the same adventure as me. I got to spend time with them, get to know a little bit about them, and really embrace and feel the good energy that emanated from each and every one of them.

It was an energy.

Every single one was different.

Every single one carried something so beautiful and so deep and so different that it was just a miraculous experience. One that I have never felt before—and honestly, I’m not sure I will ever feel at this caliber again.

I mean, this was just something that literally felt like it was out of a vortex, in a vortex, through a portal.

I’m not sure.

But it really took you somewhere else.

It took you to the safest, most easily accessible place to be vulnerable. To lock into spirit. To become one with Mother Earth. To really, truly find all the beauty within your fellow human beings.

And now, just a sniff—
the scent,
the smell of Sedona—
takes me right back.

Back to such a beautiful memory.

A time and a place.
A time and a space.

And I am still—I mean, still—on a high from it.

I think it might be permanent. I mean, I don’t know if I’m coming down.

And I’m okay with that.

Because somehow, it has balanced itself out. I’m just going through my day on this natural high, and I’m here for it.

And if it goes away? Fine.

Because now I know how to access it again.

Some great breath work.
Good time with good people.
Like-minded people.

And, hey—there’s always another comfort-zone retreat, baby.

I’m here for it. Always.

But that’s the scent of Sedona.

That’s what it does to you.

And there will be a perfume coming out, for sure.
